Montecatini Terme is undoubtedly one of the Italian cycling capitals. For almost 130 years, two-wheelers have fascinated sportsmen in the Tuscan town and throughout the Valdinievole. In addition to the numerous events organized, such as the 2013 World Championships and various stages of the Giro d'Italia and the Tirreno-Adriatico, Montecatini Terme took their first steps as amateur cyclists, athletes destined to become champions such as Fiorenzo Magni, Aldo Bini, Alfredo Martini, Bruno Pasquini and Riccardo Magrini. Since the early 1950s, a classic of amateur national cycling has been raced, such as the GP Ezio Del Rosso. The photographic documentation is powerful.
