A very special story is the one concerning football in the city of Lecco. It is the only example of a football club that developed within a rowing club: the Canottieri Lecco founded in 1895. And it is precisely the colors of this club, unique in Italian football, that Lecco Calcio has worn for over one hundred years until it reaches the small elite of teams that have played in the top division.
