In chronological order it was the third creation of Conmebol reserved for clubs from the ten South American countries. It was held between 1992 and 1999 and a painstaking research work made it possible to summarize the complete scores of all editions in a single publication. The images of the winning teams and other protagonists accompany the work completed in the appendix by an overview of other official competitions organized by the South American confederation: the 1996 Conmebol Master; the 1992 Master Libertadores; the 1994 Ibero-American Copa; finally the Copa Simon Bolivar played between 1970 and 1976.
